The document that decides your rewards
Loyalty programme rules are usually a standalone document or part of the general terms. They tend to run to several pages in legal language, which is understandable, since this is a contractual relationship.
You do not have to read them line by line from the start. It is far more effective to know which types of clause to look for and ask yourself about each one: what does this mean for me on an ordinary day?
Below we describe typical clauses from general online casino practice. This is not a summary of the Dukat.bet rules; the operator publishes those on the official Dukat.bet loyalty programme page, and their wording prevails in case of any conflict. The framework for using our site is set out in our terms.
Clause map: meaning and location
This table works as a navigation aid. The left column is the type of clause, the middle one its practical meaning and the right one where it is usually found in casino documents.
| Clause (typical in the industry) | What it means in practice | Where to look for it |
|---|---|---|
| Right to change or end the programme | terms can be adjusted even while you take part | start or end of the programme rules |
| Points expiry | unused points lapse after a set time | section on points or inactivity |
| Reward expiry | a credited reward has a deadline for use | terms of the specific reward |
| One account per person / household | multiple accounts can lead to rewards being cancelled | general terms, registration section |
| Ban on bonus abuse and arbitrage | systematically milking offers is prohibited | general bonus terms |
| Reward limits | a cap on cashback or rewards per period | level table or reward rules |
| Withdrawal conditions and verification | a withdrawal may wait for documents | payments and verification section |
| Operator discretion | some perks are not an entitlement | invitations and special offers |
Go through the table with the rules in hand and within a few minutes you will know whether the programme contains anything that could catch you out.
When the operator reserves the right to change the rules
Almost every loyalty programme includes a line saying the operator may change the rules, suspend the programme or end it. For the player this means one thing: neither status nor collected points are an asset with a fixed value.
What matters is how changes are announced and what happens to what you already have. Some programmes mention a transition period or say that rewards already earned are kept. Others say nothing of the kind.
The practical upshot? It is wiser to use points and rewards as you go than to hoard them for a long time.
The same goes for familiar offers. Even the terms of 15% Cashback with no welcome bonus can change over time, so always check the current wording before you activate it.
Deadlines: points and rewards with a use-by date
Expiry is the clause players run into most often. There are two separate mechanisms. The first concerns points, which lapse after a period ends or when the account is inactive. The second concerns rewards that have already been credited and must be used within a deadline.
Illustrative model (these are not Dukat.bet levels or terms — check the current rules on the official site): points lapse after 90 days without a bet; credited free spins are valid for 7 days; cashback paid as credit must be wagered within 14 days.
Under a model like this, a player who takes a two-month break would keep their points, but after three months they would lose them. The difference between ‘inactivity’ and ‘period’ therefore matters.
How points are earned in the first place, and why they split into status and redeemable points, is explained in our article on status points.
One player, one account, and why it is checked
The one-account-per-person rule (often also per household, device or IP address) is an industry standard. The reason is simple: without it, welcome and loyalty offers could be claimed again and again.
Breaches tend to be dealt with firmly. Typical consequences are cancelled rewards, withheld winnings from bonus funds and closed accounts. Watch out for situations that seem innocent, such as two family members playing from the same computer.
A related clause covers bonus abuse and arbitrage. It includes, for example, betting on opposite outcomes, systematically using low-risk games just to meet the conditions, or coordinated play by several people.
The definitions are usually broad. That gives the operator room for judgement, and gives the player a reason to keep things simple and transparent.
Reward caps and withdrawal conditions
Many programmes limit how much you can get from rewards. Cashback may have a maximum amount per period, a milestone reward a fixed cap, and free spin winnings a withdrawal limit.
Illustrative model (these are not Dukat.bet levels or terms — check the current rules on the official site): Level 1 – cashback cap 100 EUR a month, Level 2 – 300 EUR, Level 3 – 600 EUR; free spin winnings capped at 50 EUR.
So even with a high percentage, the cap is what decides. A player who hits it regularly should take note, as it means their losses are high.
Withdrawals are a separate chapter. Status may speed up internal processing, but identity and source-of-funds checks still apply. The path from sign-up to claiming rewards is shown in our step-by-step guide.
Four passes through the document instead of one read
Instead of reading the rules from start to finish, try going through them four times, each with a different goal. It is quicker and less tiring.
- Numbers: find every percentage, amount and number of days. Write them down.
- Loss verbs: look for words such as lapses, is cancelled, expires, reserves the right. That is where the risks are.
- Games: find out which titles count and which are excluded (this can also apply to specific Apollo Games, Kajot or Yggdrasil games).
- Exceptions: phrases such as ‘at its discretion’ and ‘without prior notice’.
After four passes you have everything important on paper. If anything is still unclear, ask support in writing and save the reply.
Common questions on these topics are collected in our rules FAQ.
One more note: no clause obliges you to play more than you want to. Limits you set yourself take priority over any status.
